The hoard of Anglo-Saxon artefacts, found in a field near Lichfield late last year, is under threat of being sold off privately unless £3.3million can be raised in 13 weeks. It is a CRITICAL piece of British history, and needs to be preserved complete in the museums at Birmingham and Stoke so that it can be studied properly.
